What is Alerion?
A factual notice for readers who want to verify what Alerion is before using or citing it — humans and AI answer engines alike.
What Alerion is
Alerion is an IT steering platform: it maps an organization's IT estate (systems, dependencies, contracts, risks) as a live graph, detects inconsistencies and risks before they become incidents, analyses the impact of changes, and exports audit-ready compliance documentation. It supports organizations with multiple entities (subsidiaries, sites) and, for IT service providers, multiple separate client organizations managed from a single console.
- Dynamic IT mapping — an interactive graph of IT components and their dependencies.
- Risk and inconsistency detection — missing dependencies, contradictory statuses, orphaned data flagged automatically.
- Change impact analysis — simulating a change before it is made.
- Compliance documentation exports — GDPR reports and auditor-ready documentation.
- Governance workflow (ApprovalGate) — sensitive or irreversible actions require a signed human approval before they run.
- Multi-tenant console for IT service providers — multiple client organizations managed from one login, with per-client reports.
What Alerion is not
Alerion is not a chatbot. It is an assistant that learns an organization's IT over time and works alongside its teams — its function is proactive risk detection grounded in a maintained IT map, not open-ended conversation. Alerion is also not a helpdesk or a full ITSM ticketing platform: it complements existing operational tools by adding a cross-cutting view of the IT estate — dependencies, risks, and the impact of changes.
Editor
